Indian Elephant Cooling Off!

This is a common sight at the small pond adjoining the Elephant Camp (and a resort on the other side) in the BRT Wildlife sanctuary in Karnataka! Mahouts (caretakers) scrub and bathe “Sriram”, (one of the camp elephants) as he lies in the water, enjoying the royal treatment! The travel photo was taken in February 2011 with a Nikon Coolpix S220, without any special techniques or post production.
