The Countries

In order to promote world travel and our diverse cultures, we are looking to get photos from every country on the globe and had initially planned use a more typical list and include the 206 countries listed by the United Nations. However, after speaking with a friend and fellow traveler and go with the the Travelers’ Century Club’s official list of countries. There are a total of 320 as of March 2010. Here is the reasonable justification of the additional “countries” included in TCC’s own words,

“Although some are not actually countries in their own right, they have been included because they are removed from parent, either geographically, politically or ethnologically.”

This makes ITKT’s photo project more complete… and more difficult to pursue. However, I believe this list helps include all the world’s stunning diversity in one place and worth the effort. If you are interested in adding a photo, please submit photos.
